Fees for 2010-2011 School Year
K - 4 -- KINDERGARTEN INFORMATION General Information Arrival: 7:30-7:54 a.m.--Dismissal- 2:58 p.m. After School Care- 2:58-5:15 Registration 1. Birth Certificate- K-4 -- must be 4 years old by October 1 2. Immunization Records 3. Social Security Card 4. Enrollment forms Financial Obligations 1. Registration fees- Per family. Non-Refundable $225.00 per family 2. General Operating Expense Fee - due by Dec. 1 -- $500.00 per family 3. Tuition- One child- $4140.00 ($345.00 per month) Tuition is due on the first day of each month and is considered late if not received by the tenth day of that month. A $30.00 late fee will be charged. Tuition is due for one full year beginning June 1 thru May 31. Tuition and student fees include an afternoon snack, lunch, after school care, and ABEKA learning materials. Lunch is included in the tuition. Students may also bring their lunch.
ABBEVILLE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY MISSION STATEMENT The mission of Abbeville Christian Academy is to provide a Christian environment in which to develop well-educated, well-disciplined students with positive self-esteem, a sense of fair play, and the leadership skills needed for the 21st century. ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN ACA A. PTA -PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION--Support organization for teachers and parents. Groups work together to support and coordinate all aspects of ACA life. PTA is a fund raising organization. Projects benefit the school insurance and other school expenses. B. GENERALS ARMY--Support organization for athletic programs. This fund raising organization contributes monthly to the tuition fund, pays utility bills, pays for upkeep of gym, athletic equipment, coaches supplement, etc. C. BOARD OF DIRECTORS--Elected body. It is not a fund raising organization. 1) Sets school policy. 2) Hires people to implement policy. 3) Sets up and oversees business/financial aspect of ACA. 4)Provides leadership and support for teachers and Headmaster. ********************************************************************************************************************

ABBEVILLE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY K5 --- KINDERGARTEN INFORMATION CURRICULUM CURRICULUM The ACA program is balanced to include large and small group instruction, structured and unstructured learning experiences, group and individual projects, and active and quiet periods. ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES Pre-School groups will participate in the following enrichment activities: art, music, videos, and field trips. Special activities are correlated with seasonal dates. Our students have the unique opportunities of visiting the elementary and secondary schools for many activities. MESSAGES Please send all messages to school in writing. Parents are free to call the school office at 585-5100 with questions and concerns. OPERATING POLICIES GOALS: To provide students with quality development care in a safe, clean, orderly Christian environment. ADMISSION PROCEDURES FOR 5 YEAR OLD PROGRAM 1. Admission to the 5 year old program is open to children who are 5 years old on or before October 1 st, and must show at the time of application or prior to the first day of attendance the following: Birth certificate, Social Security #, Immunization Records, and Enrollment forms. 2. Interested parents should call the Director of the school to request that their child be enrolled. If there is no vacancy, the child's name will be put on a waiting list. When a vacancy occurs, the Director will notify the parents and arrange for a pre-admission conference if parents are still interested. 3. ACA reserves the right to drop any child from enrollment if the staff feels that the program is not meeting the needs of the child or if the child's presence is causing ACA to lower the quality of education of other students. 4. If parents choose to withdraw their child, the director must be notified in advance. Tuition and fees will be non-refundable. No refunds for absences.
